At Escuela de Idiomas Nerja you don't just learn Spanish; you live it. The traditional Andalusian school building houses 16 spacious, bright classrooms, all equipped with modern facilities. And outside you will find a beautiful and cozy garden, where you can enjoy the sun during breaks. Moreover, it is sometimes used for outdoor lessons.

The school was founded in 1980 and therefore has more than forty years of experience. The teachers are highly qualified, enthusiastic and committed to ensuring that everyone feels at home and makes rapid progress with the Spanish language.

In addition to the courses, the school offers a wide range of cultural activities and excursions. These include wine tastings, tapas tours, kayaking, salsa or flamenco lessons, paella cooking and much more. After the lessons you can enjoy the beautiful view from the Balcón de Europa, you can go snorkeling at Playa de Burriana or you can simply enjoy 'la playa' in a few minutes.

I did a 2 week Intermediate Course in the Escuela de Idiomas Nerja this September. It was my first time to do a course here and it was a wonderful experience. The school management, teachers and coffee break staff are really welcoming and extremely professional. The school itself is beautifully maintained and in a very central location. The class size was excellent and I would really recommend studying in this school. I did a 2 week Intermediate Course in the Escuela de Idiomas Nerja this September. I studied there myself for 2 weeks. The school's building is well situated in the centre of Nerja, within easy walking distance to shops, sights, restaurants and the beaches. All staff members from A-Z, from housekeeping to school director, are extremely passionate, helpful and friendly. Our teachers were wonderful: very professional and patient. The classes were diverse, challenging and interesting. At the same time, they were great... I studied there myself for 2 weeks. The school's building is well situated in the centre of Nerja, within easy walking distance to shops, sights, restaurants and the beaches. All staff members from A-Z, from housekeeping to school director, are extremely passionate, helpful and friendly. Our teachers were wonderful: very professional and patient. The classes were diverse, challenging and interesting. At the same time, they were great fun too. All this allowed us to progress more than we would had expected! No wonder we met a lot of returners who studied there for the 2nd, 3rd or even 4th time. ¡Muchas gracías a todo de la escuela de idiomas Nerja por dos semanas estupendas y une tiempo inolvidable!

I took a one week course level A2 and was very pleased. Due to the written test taken in advance and the 5 min. oral interview just before the course starts I think I was put in the right level. Having said that I have to admit that I struggled to keep my head over water some of the time. But being challenged like that makes the leaning more intense I think. It's a good school right in the centre of Nerja. The teachers are good and professional, students are friendly and the atmosphere is pretty laid back. The only downside is that I don't see a reason for a student who is staying in the school one week only to pay the enrollment fee. It's a good school right in the centre of Nerja.
