Expanish is one of the newer language schools in Málaga. After two other locations in Spain, in Barcelona and Madrid, Expanish has opened a new language school in the historic center of Málaga. The school has a cozy atmosphere, with a modern and dynamic interior and large windows that offer beautiful views of the city. During breaks you can relax in the central space where you have a view of one of the most central squares in the city.

Expanish Málaga is within walking distance of the beach, numerous restaurants and bars and the city's historic attractions. The school is accredited by Instituto Cervantes. The teachers are very involved and make you feel right at home.

In addition to the Spanish lessons, the school organizes fun activities to show you more of the vibrant Andalusian culture. You can explore the historic center, learn how to make tapas, dance with bachata or simply browse the many museums, shops and bars nearby. Whether you are interested in the Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba or the beautiful cathedral of Málaga, there is something for everyone in this city.

I studied Spanish for three weeks in Malaga, Spain during November-December 2023. It was an amazing experience that I recommend to everyone regardless of language level! The teachers were committed, incredibly caring and you quickly became included and part of the "family" as they so nicely called us. Classes with few students and with a strong focus on speaking the language. The school also had several free activities during the... I attended this Spanish language school located in the city center of Malaga for a 4-month course, with classes twice a week in the evenings. The option for evening classes was incredibly convenient, especially for those of us who has work. I successfully completed both A1 and A2 levels and now feel much more confident using Spanish language.

The option for evening classes was incredibly convenient, especially for those of us who has work. I successfully completed both A1 and A2 levels and now feel much more confident using Spanish language.

One aspect I truly appreciated was the flexibility of the school. I had to pause my course for an extended period due to illness, and they were understanding and accommodating.

The teaching staff, particularly Maria and Elena, were exceptional. They were not only friendly but also highly organized, always ensuring that any doubts or questions I had were promptly addressed. This level of support left me highly satisfied with my experience at this school.

I will definitely continue my studies with them after my break, and I would strongly recommend this school to anyone seeking quality Spanish language education, especially with flexible scheduling options.

I have learned Spanish at Expanish- Spanish School in Malaga only two months, but it’s unbelievable for me I would understand and participate in the conversations with other students in our lessons. I want to thank Expanish for the wonderful time I've had in the school. The staff is very nice and helpful. I didn't have any troubles with signing up and getting my class schedule. And all the teachers here are highly professional and very friendly. I've made a huge progress in 3,5 months from barely A1 up to B1. I thought that studying four hours a day would be mind blowing, but I was wrong. The process is very well balanced, the... I want to thank Expanish for the wonderful time I've had in the school. I really enjoyed learning Spanish at Expanish. Juanma is a great teacher and makes the lessons interactive and fun. Students were all kind and friendly and we were afraid to have a go at talking and making mistakes was how we learnt. Additionally all of the staff are really welcoming! Had a terrific week of Spanish classes with Expanish in Malaga. The school is right in the center of the old town but is modern and charming. The teachers were excellent and adapted easily to the level of the individuals students. Everything was well organised, with clear communication and classes started right on time. Course cancellation policy
Expanish Málaga cancellation policy

Changes to Enrollment:

  • A €50 administration fee for course changes, €650 for internship placements, and €100 for accommodation changes after initial enrollment confirmation.
  • Changes must be requested at least two weeks prior to the intended change.
  • Postponements within two weeks of the start date are treated as cancellations.
  • Housing changes incur a €100 fee and are subject to availability, with no refunds for price differences.
  • Substituting services (like courses for internships) is not allowed and treated as cancellations.

Medical/Personal Absences:

  • Absences for personal or medical reasons are considered cancellations; lessons will not be postponed or refunded unless supported by an official medical certificate.

Course Cancellations:

  • Full refund (minus non-refundable fees) for cancellations made 14 days or more before the program start.
  • Cancellations less than 14 days before start date incur a fee equivalent to one week of tuition plus non-refundable charges.
  • No refund for cancellations on or after the start date.

Course Cancellations With Student Visa:

  • Cancellation requires returning the original certificate of studies and a signed cancellation intent document.
  • With an official visa denial, refunds are processed as follows:
  • More than 15 days before start: full course value minus €250 cancellation fee.
  • 15 days or less before start: full course value minus 25% of total amount paid.
  • No refunds for cancellations on or after the start date, regardless of the student's arrival in Spain.
  • No refund without an official visa denial document.
  • Courier fees are always non-refundable.

  • Cancellations 13 days or less before the start: No refunds.

Non-Expanish Accommodation:

  • Independent accommodations such as student residences, hostels, hotels, and private apartments have their own cancellation policies.
  • Expanish will provide the specific booking terms and cancellation policies upon booking confirmation.
