I was here (unfortunately only) one week and have attended Flamenco classes. All the teachers were great, they were responsive to each individual and taught the technique, the choreo and the Flamenco background well. The school also arranges free city tours (which I would highly recommend!) and discounted tickets to Flamenco shows. I'd definitely like to come again! I have been to this school two times over the past couple of years for lessons in Spanish language and dance, and I really like it there. The school has managed to gather teachers of tremendous quality in one place, who examine where you are and really help you attain the next level. They have facilities that really should be taken advantage of - field trips, group activities, LOTS of information on happenings in the city of Granada... The school has managed to gather teachers of tremendous quality in one place, who examine where you are and really help you attain the next level. They have facilities that really should be taken advantage of - field trips, group activities, LOTS of information on happenings in the city of Granada and elsewhere with regard to flamenco, studio rental, etc. One thing I personally liked is that in one hour of class, I could receive as much information in months of study back home. The teachers see where your gaps are and help you to fill them in. I would recommend anyone who is serious about their study to go here.

My husband and I spent 5 weeks studying Spanish and Flamenco guitar this spring (2024) and would highly recommend the school on all accounts! Excellent teachers in a small class format, amazing location in the Albaycin neighborhood of Granada. The schools 40 years old and the ground floor dance and music studios are built into the caves. The staff are very helpful from offering very affordable student housing during the planning... My husband and I spent 5 weeks studying Spanish and Flamenco guitar this spring (2024) and would highly recommend the school on all accounts! Excellent teachers in a small class format, amazing location in the Albaycin neighborhood of Granada. The schools 40 years old and the ground floor dance and music studios are built into the caves. The staff are very helpful from offering very affordable student housing during the planning stages, day trips on Saturdays, full day access to the school and it’s amazing studios and terraces. We are looking forward to returning again next year.

I attended a two-week guitar course with Jorge at Carmen de las Cuevas (June 2024), and it was truly spectacular! The atmosphere was relaxed yet perfect for learning. Jorge's teaching style made it easy to pick up the basics and start mastering Flamenco techniques. My passion for Flamenco guitar has really caught fire - I'm definitely coming back for more.
