In the cozy town of Adeje, on the sunny island of Tenerife, SMS Spanish Experience invites you to learn Spanish in a great environment. The school has three nice classrooms where you can meet other students of all ages and backgrounds. During breaks you can relax in the cozy lounge or take a look at the on-site library.
The team of Spanish teachers is ready to help you. SMS Spanish believes it is important that you learn Spanish in a fun way, without it really feeling like learning. So no heavy grammar rules, but lots of interaction.
In addition to the lessons, the school organizes fun things, such as tapas evenings, film evenings and walks. And in your free time you can explore Tenerife. For example, visit the Teide National Park, take the cable car to the top of the volcano, or enjoy the amusement parks and beautiful beaches with black sand and clear blue water.

It's a beautiful school, in the nice pueblo Adeje at the foot of a big mountain. I stayed in a... I really enjoyed my intensive course of 20 lessons a week. The teachers were kind, open (and openminded), professional and funny. We laughed a lot during class!
It's a beautiful school, in the nice pueblo Adeje at the foot of a big mountain. I stayed in a hostfamilyhouse. When I left house to go to school I could see the ocean on my left side and the mountains on the other side. Then I walked 5 minutes to school.
I really recommend Sms Spanish school (what does sms stand for actually?🧐) and I already have plans to come back next year.

After contacting the school I did some online exercises to evaluate my Spanish level (later course) as well as a short Skype meeting. I think this is a great way to set the correct starting... I can highly recommend this school if you want to learn and exercise Spanish.
After contacting the school I did some online exercises to evaluate my Spanish level (later course) as well as a short Skype meeting. I think this is a great way to set the correct starting point early on.
The school is very professional (including electrical whiteboards etc.) but also very nicely done, so you feel welcome right away.
I really enjoyed my course with Alba which is a amazing teacher and person. The way that she structures her classes was perfect for me and I think it is so that it not only motivates you but also “forces you comfortably” into speaking Spanish (even if you are not perfect in it).
I stayed with a host family for the first of my two weeks and had a intense course for both weeks. It brought my big steps ahead, as in the beginning the fast Spanish in real life situations (e.g. in a restaurant) was tough for me to understand, in the end however, I felt very comfortably also communicating outside of the school.
Even if you don’t want to stay in host family (which I highly recommend) I think Adeje is a great place to stay. It is not as touristic as the coastal region and in my point of view much more beautiful as well. Also it’s more the “real Spain” and you can discover great restaurants and speak Spanish with people (in the touristic areas most people communicate in English with you).
To conclude: I think the school is just perfect and really well structured. I felt absolutely comfortable at all times and will definitely come back. A big thanks to Seila for all the organization and a even bigger thanks to Alba for the great class with a lot of new topics and even more fun!
