Learn Italian at Accademia Leonardo

The primary goal of the Accademia Leonardo language school is to increase the value of the Italian language and culture. The language school is located in a historic building in the center of the city of Salerno. One side of the school overlooks the botanical garden and the theater Verdi, while the other side overlooks the Gulf of Salerno and the castle of the prince Arechi. The location of the school is ideal, with pizzerias, coffee shops, shops and the beaches just a stone's throw away. The school is attractively decorated with an interior that immediately evokes the Italian spirit thanks to colored walls that are decorated with fresco paintings. In this way an atmosphere is created that is ideal for learning the Italian language. The small school has 6 classrooms with lots of natural light, a private lounge and a study room and a kitchen that can be used by the students. Each class is furnished and equipped with modern facilities. The quality of the lessons is good, the school has several accreditations.

I strongly recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn Italian. Personally I knew oral Italian before starting the course, however I never practiced written nor academic Italian. I found the academy so helpful, that after I finished my 4-weeks course I am going to continue further with the them.
I was very happy with my teacher Mario, who created a course which was adapted my level and my needs.
The staff at the administration were very nice people, very welcoming, and were quick to answer my emails anytime I had questions.

The language course itself was great, we were just two students and had a very patient, caring and knowing teacher. The whole time we had a lot of fun during the lessons, but still learned very much during this intense time. Not only about the language itself but also about Italian history, the region Campania and cultural aspects.
I had a great time and can highly recommend the school for beginners!

My husband and I attended for one week of lessons. We found our instructor - Mario - to be a food instructor and a genuinely nice person. He tailored the lessons to just past our level of current learning to push us very gently but firmly to move beyond that. We both left... My husband and I attended for one week of lessons.
